Craft Crave Creations
I’d like to introduce you to my “craft cave !!” it is a room downstairs at the Junction that is the perfect size (and right below the upstairs) for a bathroom. Unfortunately since we’re on a hill downstairs means below the street level, which means… very hard (and more expensive) to turn it into a bathroom, so we have to wait on that project. Until then, it is my craft cave. I have spent the past few days organizing and cleaning it while my Mother in Law is visiting (she came to stay with us after my surgery a couple weeks ago)

This is the first Craft Cave creation. The second page of my “engagement year” scrapbook. It is going to include pics of our engagement, my shower, bachelorette party, and all of our cards and all of the cards and nice notes people wrote to us on their RSVP cards. I will post more pics of the the different pages as I make them ! and if anyone has any great tips/ideas on how to scrapbook cards, please Comment and or E mail me !!

Dude, that’s awesome!! It’s great to have a space for crafts!
Ugh… scrapbooking cards is a challenge. I have a solution, but you probably won’t like it… sometimes I cut the card in half on the fold- so I have the front and the inside, and I line them up side-by-side on the scrapbook page. It’s not perfect, but it works.
If you can’t handle cutting the card in half, then I recommend pages that are easy to remove from the page protector (Creative Memories has some of those now) so you can occasionally take them out to read the cards. Does that make sense?
I don’t necessarily mind cutting them… I also don’t to have all the card pages look the same either… so maybe a combo of that and some sort of pocket or something ? I am going to try and make it to one of your events soon to get some inspiration and some stuff hopefully.
